Set the analysis scope
Apply date, driver, truck, trailer, entry kind, location, and expense filters where available before interpreting the cards and charts. Analytics are only as accurate as the saved source entries.
Read totals and trends
Cards and charts can summarize trips, daily logs, distance by unit, duty time, driving time, on-duty time, trucks, trailers, locations, fuel spend, repair costs, maintenance notes, inspections, defects, and recent records.
Distances in different units remain separate. Fuel and repair totals depend on the currency and amount recorded on each expense row.
Use analytics as a review tool
Analytics help you find missing odometers, unusual expenses, incomplete trips, frequently used vehicles, and recent duty activity. Open the contributing entry before relying on a summary value.
If something goes wrong
- If totals are zero, clear filters and confirm that the current Road Logbook contains entries.
- If distance totals seem split, check whether some entries use miles and others use kilometres.
- If expense totals look incomplete, verify each fuel, repair, toll, parking, or other expense row on the source entries.
