Partner Connector Terms
These Partner Connector Terms explain how ProLogbooks.com partner connectors work. They apply when you use, activate, authorize, or request a partner connector import in ProLogbooks.com. These Partner Connector Terms supplement the ProLogbooks.com Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. If there is a conflict between these Partner Connector Terms and the general Terms and Conditions for connector-related matters, these Partner Connector Terms apply to the connector-related matter.
1. Partner connector use
ProLogbooks.com may allow users to import or synchronize logbook information from authorized third-party partners, such as flight schools, clubs, operators, employers, scheduling systems, dispatch systems, or other connected platforms.
Partner connectors are optional. A connector is activated only when an account user requests or authorizes connector use in ProLogbooks.com.
2. Registration and connector identifiers
Before a full import occurs, a partner may provide limited information to ProLogbooks.com, such as your email address, partner name, partner member or student identifier, authorization status, or confirmation that you may be eligible to import data from that partner.
ProLogbooks.com may create a unique connector identifier and provide that identifier to the partner. The partner may store that identifier in its own system so future import requests can be verified.
Connector identifiers are personal information because they can be associated with an account, user, partner relationship, or import permission. They are not passwords and must not be treated as a substitute for proper authentication, authorization, or access controls.
3. User-requested imports
ProLogbooks.com does not automatically import full partner data only because a partner registered your email address.
Full partner data is imported only when you log in to your ProLogbooks.com account and manually request or authorize the import.
When you request an import, ProLogbooks.com may send your verified account email address and the related connector identifier to the partner to confirm that you are authorized to access the data.
If the partner confirms authorization, ProLogbooks.com may receive and import the authorized data into your ProLogbooks.com account.
4. Imported data
Imported data may include logbook-related information such as flight records, aircraft information, dates, times, locations, crew or instructor information, training details, notes, documents, correction status, cancellation status, or similar information.
The exact data available may depend on the partner, the partner system, the connector settings, and the data categories authorized for import.
5. Partner responsibility
The partner is responsible for having the authority, permission, consent, or legal basis needed to register a user email address, store a connector identifier, respond to authorization checks, and supply data to ProLogbooks.com.
The partner is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, availability, and legality of the data it provides to ProLogbooks.com.
ProLogbooks.com is not responsible for data that a partner provides incorrectly, incompletely, late, in duplicate, or without proper authority.
6. Review and user responsibility
Imported information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, duplicated, or formatted differently from your own records.
You remain responsible for reviewing, correcting, and validating imported records before relying on them for regulatory, licensing, training, employment, tax, insurance, operational, or other official purposes.
ProLogbooks.com does not guarantee that imported records will be accepted by any aviation authority, employer, training organization, insurer, tax authority, or other third party.
7. Disconnecting a connector
You may disconnect a partner connector where this feature is available.
Disconnecting a connector may stop future imports or synchronization from that partner. Disconnecting a connector does not automatically delete records that were already imported into your ProLogbooks.com account.
You may delete or correct imported records using the features available in your account or by contacting ProLogbooks.com support where applicable.
8. Security
ProLogbooks.com uses reasonable safeguards to protect connector-related information, including connector identifiers and imported data.
However, partner connectors depend partly on partner systems, partner authorization checks, partner data quality, internet communications, and third-party infrastructure. ProLogbooks.com cannot guarantee that a partner system will always be available, accurate, secure, or error-free.
If ProLogbooks.com believes that a connector may create a security, privacy, legal, abuse-prevention, technical, or operational risk, ProLogbooks.com may suspend, limit, disable, revoke, or change the connector.
9. No sale of imported data
ProLogbooks.com does not sell imported partner data.
ProLogbooks.com uses imported partner data to provide the requested connector, import, synchronization, display, correction, export, support, security, audit, and account-related features.
10. Changes to these terms
ProLogbooks.com may update these Partner Connector Terms from time to time.
If the changes are material, ProLogbooks.com may require you to review and accept the updated version before continuing to use partner connector features.
11. Questions
