Scuba Diving Logbook overview

Choose the correct logbook and view

Create or select a Scuba Diving Logbook before entering dives. Recreational and Professional views use the same records; the Professional view shows additional list columns and opens the full entry form by default.

Every dive, site, equipment item, contact, and certification belongs to the selected logbook. If something appears to be missing, check the workspace selector before recreating it.

1. Open Logbooks and create a Scuba Diving Logbook.
2. Choose Recreational or Professional as the view.
3. Select Metric, Imperial, or Mixed display units and the preferred Standard or Advanced form mode.
4. Return to the dashboard and confirm the Scuba Diving Logbook name is displayed.

Use the Diving navigation

• My Dives lists saved entries and provides filters, actions, and exports.
• Dive Sites, Equipment, Contacts, and Certifications maintain reusable personal catalogs.
• Dive Sites Map shows owned sites and recorded activity on a map.
• Dive Analytics summarizes factual totals, experience counts, and trends.
• Add Dive creates a manual record; Import from file on that page opens the shared profile or CSV import workflow when uploads are included in the plan.

Read the dashboard as a record summary

The Diving dashboard shows total dives, bottom time, deepest and longest recorded dives, average maximum depth, monthly and yearly counts, signed dives, sites, buddies, countries, days since the latest dive, and recent entries.

These values summarize the information stored in the selected logbook. They are not decompression advice, certification credit, medical guidance, or a statement that a diver is qualified for an activity.
