Use My Dives and the dive detail page

My Dives is the working list for locating, reviewing, duplicating, archiving, signing, exporting, and deleting records.

Read and filter the list

The list shows dive number, date, site, depth, bottom time, gas, buddy, signature, attachments, and actions. Professional view also shows purpose, dive mode, and operator.

Choose Search to reveal filters. Filter by date, site, country code, purpose, dive mode, depth range, gas, buddy, signature state, night, wreck, cave, technical, attachments, or incident. Results update without reloading; Clear filters restores the full list.

Use row actions deliberately

  • View opens the read-only detail page.
  • Edit changes the owned entry and may invalidate an active signature after confirmation.
  • Duplicate makes a new draft without attachments or profile.
  • Archive removes an entry from normal active use without permanently deleting it; Unarchive restores it.
  • Request signature opens the guest-signature workflow when available.
  • Delete permanently removes the entry after modal confirmation, including its owned files and profile.

Review the complete dive detail

On a wide screen, the first summary card contains the map when coordinates or a track are available, followed by the site, operator/boat/trip context, recorded maximum depth, entry and exit times, the primary bottom-time or runtime value, and identification details. The main column continues with depth and duration, signature status when present, conditions and flags, profile, cylinders, equipment, team, notes, private notes, photos, and other attachments. On smaller screens these cards stack vertically.

Linked equipment and team members show the current catalog thumbnail when one is available, while their names, categories, roles, agencies, and notes remain the values saved with the dive. A later catalog photo change can therefore change the thumbnail without rewriting the recorded text.

The page header provides Edit, Back to Dives, and Download PDF when exports are included. Signature information appears above the detail content and in the signature status card when applicable; start a new signature request from the My Dives row action. Use Previous, Back to Dives, and Next at the bottom to move through entries. Permanent Delete remains a My Dives row action rather than a detail-page button.

If something goes wrong

  • If a filter returns nothing, clear filters and then add criteria one at a time.
  • If columns extend beyond the screen on a phone, scroll the table horizontally and use the compact actions menu.
  • If an archived entry is difficult to locate, use the applicable status/search controls or return through a saved direct link.
